4 Easy Holiday Drinks!

Holiday drinks is the best way to gather the family together, have some laughs, and tell old stories! I am sharing four "easy to do" recipes that won't leave you lingering in the kitchen all night and serve all type of liquor lovers!


WHITE CHRISTMAS MARGARITA

Ingredients: serves 6 servings

- 1 (14 oz) can unsweetened coconut milk

- 12 oz silver tequila

- 8 oz triple sec

- 1/4 cup lime juice

- 4 cups ice

- lime wedge, for rimming glass

- sugar for rimming glass

- lime slices for garnish

- cranberries, for garnish


Directions:

Step 1: Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth: coconut milk, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and ice.

Step 2: Rim the glasses with lime wedge and dip in sugar.

Step 3: Pour blend into glass and garnish with the lime wedge and cranberries.


ENJOY!


HOT TODDY

Ingredients: serves 1 serving

- 3/4 cup of water

- 1 1/2 ounces whiskey

- 2-3 teaspoons of honey

- 2-3 teaspoons of lemon juice

- 1 lemon round for garnish

- 1 cinnamon stick for garnish


Directions:

Step 1: Bring water to a simmer in a saucepan. Pour the hot water into a mug.

Step 2: Add the whiskey, honey, lemon juice. Stir until all ingredients have dissolved into the water (taste and add more honey/lemon if need be).

Step 3: Garnish will lemon wedge and cinnamon stick.

GRINCH PUNCH


Ingredients: serves 12 serving

- 1 (.13 oz) packet Kool-Aid lemon lime mix

- 4 cups of water

- 4 cups of ice

- 3 cups of lemon lime soda

- 2 cups of pineapple juice

- 2 cups of vodka

- 1 cup ginger ale

- lime wedges for garnishing

- red sugar for rimming


Directions:

Step 1: Add Kool Aid mix and water into a large pitcher.

Step 2: Combine all ingredients into a large punch bowl: Kool Aid, ice, lemon lime soda, pineapple juice, vodka, and ginger ale.

Step 3: Use a lime wedge to rim the glasses and dip into the red sugar to coat. Pour the punch into glasses.

CLASSIC SPIKED EGG NOG

Ingredients: serves 4 servings

For homemade egg nog:

- 2 cups milk

- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

- 6 large egg yolks

- 1/2 cup sugar

- 1 cup heavy cream

- 1 cup bourbon or whiskey

- whipped cream and ground cinnamon for garnish


Directions:

Step 1: Combine milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla to a low boil.

Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk egg yolks with sugar and slowly add hot milk mixture to egg yolks. Whisk until combined.

Step 3: Return mixture to saucepan and cook over medium heat until slightly thick but does not boil. Check with a thermometer, mixture should reach 160 degrees).

Step 4: Remove from heat and stir in heavy cream and whiskey/bourbon of choice. Refrigerate until chilled.

Step 5: When ready to serve, pour egg nog into mug/glass and garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon.


OR

Ingredients: - egg nog (from your local grocery store)

- whiskey or bourbon of choice

- whipped cream and ground cinnamon for garnish


Directions:

Step 1: Pour egg nog and 2 oz of whiskey/bourbon of choice into glass or mug.

Step 2: Garnish with whipped cream and ground cinnamon.
