Howdyyyy y'all!!! That seemed fitting for this travel guide ;) It's no surprise that I instantly fell in love with Music City! Nashville is one of the top most visited destinations in the nation and this past weekend proved why. If you ever have the opportunity to experience this country lovin' town, you must! Be prepared for long adventurous nights, yummy food, and the best country cover bands. Here i'll be sharing all of the highlights from our blogger trip to Nashville:

Gaylord Opryland Resort

We stayed at the beautiful Gaylord Opryland Resort for our first three nights in Nashville! It is centered right in the heart of Nashville and packed with countless attractions for guests and tourists. We stayed in the Deluxe Parlor double suite with the most picturesque view of the tropical garden landscapes and twinkling lights at night. The first evening, we took the Delta Riverboat Tour through the Delta Atrium of the Gaylord Opryland! Our guide was so knowledgeable and shared all about the landscaping, plants, fish, and resort activities offered. We even passed by the Presidential Suite which houses several famous country singers such as Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, and more! The Riverboat Tour was about 15 minutes long and ended right in front of some of the top restaurants on site. So, it was time for dinner!

One afternoon, we popped into Sound Waves, their state-of-the-art aquatic attraction. It has indoor and outdoor play structures for kids, waterslides, lazy river, exclusive adults area, and on-site dining options! We chilled out in the adults infinity pool on the top floor and in the cabana rental next to the lazy river! This water park is perfect for planning a unique girls day without even leaving the resort!

The Gaylord Opryland Resort is home to the famous General Jackson Showboat, one of the largest showboats ever built! Myself and the girls took the fancy "Music City Nights" showboat cruise through the Cumberland River and into downtown Nashville. Filled with the historic pastime of Music City's night life experience, a three-course southern style cuisine, and of course singing and dancing, this cruise did not disappoint. They offer a variety of show and dinner times that you can find HERE!

Just a few more things that make the Gaylord Opryland so special, are the 19 unique dining options located throughout the grounds. Some of our favorite restaurants were: The Cascades, The Delta Marketplace, Fuse Sports Bar, Cocoa Bean, and The Falls! Their restaurants also have some of the best local craft brews, premium wine on tap, cold-pressed juices and the yummy cocktails! The Gaylord Opryland also has a full fitness center with cardio machines, sauna/steam room, free weights, and strength equipment! Right next door is the Relache Spa if you're craving a relaxing massage with the girls; or the Spring Golf links for a morning on the green with the boys!

The Gaylord Opryland is famous for their seasonal festivities! Coming up they have the "Goblins and Giggles" with the Spookyeasy bar, a haunted hidden treasure escape room, a Jack-o’-lantern walk, and a trick-or-treat expedition for children. Crossing into Christmas they are kicking off their "Country Christmas" event, a crows favorite with cookie decorating, photos with Santa, ice skating, and carriage rides! What's your favorite time of year? Celebrate it at the Gaylord with their signature seasonal festivities! Book your stay with them, HERE!

Broadway

Broadway is arguable the most popular location in town! The hotspot for Honky Tonks and some of the nations top up and coming artists (we spent wayyyy too much time on Broadway lol). Our favorite bars to visit were: Kid Rock's Bar, Jason Aldean Bar, Dierks Bentley Whiskey Row, Miranda Lambert's Bar, Tootsies Lounge, Assembly Food Hall, and Tin Roof! They each have their own vibe, style of music, cover bands, etc. You never know who you might see in the lower Broadway clubs -- Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Gretchen Wilson, Dierks Bentley and other stars began their careers on this amazing street. If you enjoy live music and having a good 'ol time with other honky tonkers, "Honky Tonk Highway" is the spot for you!

The Gulch

The Gulch is such a premiere urban neighborhood with endless opportunity -- shopping, dining, music, events, and more! Some of the top boutiques that caught my eye were: Finnleys, Kittenish, Parish, Uncommon James, and Urban Outfitters. They also have several cute hotels, numerous dining options, live entertainment, and fitness opportunities at The Gulch!

12 South

A half-mile stretch along 12th Avenue South called the 12South neighborhood with a vintage clothing store on one end, a gourmet restaurant on the other, and many unique Nashville businesses in between. It is walkable and filled with shopping and dining destination such as coffee houses, bakeries, bars, and boutiques featuring local designers. This is also a hotspot for the murals and Amelia's Flower Truck!

The Fairlane Hotel

We stayed at The Fairlane Hotel for our last night in town, a retro modern hub located in the business and arts district of Nashville. Imagine timeless style meeting modern sensibility, the Fairlane was just the right balance of luxury and rebellious spirit! Our favorite part of the Fairlane aside from the gorgeous view of downtown and being one block away from Lower Broadway, was the penthouse pop up lounge. They hosted us for an afternoon in the "Fallin' For Fairlane" pop up, and it was a WOW! The photos don't do this special attraction justice. If you're a local or visiting Nashville, drop in and order your favorite fall inspired cocktail, enjoy the crisp cool autumn air, and indulge in the best views of Music City! They also have a famous cheese & wine lounge in the lobby with a few other dining locations on site. The Fairlane had the warmest welcome and the most difficult goodbye. Book your stay with them, HERE!

Murals

This is for my girlies looking for the best photo ops in Music City! This town is jam-packed with hidden gems, famous murals, and unique artistry for your next instagram post ;) We made a pitstop to see the "I believe in Nashville" mural, the "KISS" wall, Amelia's Flower Truck, the "Nashville Looks Good On You" mural, and more! We did not have a chance to go to the famous wings because the line was a few blocks down. Here is a helpful blog post I found that shares even more popular murals around Music City. Take a photo, make a memory, & share with the world the way you believe in Nashville!

Titans

Nashville is home to the Tennesse Titans (Drews favorite team, he was so jealous) and they play at Nissan Stadium! They had a game on Sunday while we were visiting but we didn't have a chance to go. If you plan to go anytime soon, try to catch a game if they are playing at home! Here is their schedule.

Everyone deserves a true Nashville experience! The creative energy is contagious, and I miss it so much already. I can't wait to be back in Music City!
