JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort

Hello hello :) I've been traveling non-stop this year, but I have to say that this trip was unlike any other! It was my very first time visiting Marco Island and it did not disappoint. It was so relaxing, picturesque, and WARM lol! Abbi and I arrived at the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort on Sunday and stayed until Tuesday afternoon. I wanted to share with y'all our experience since summer is right around the corner.

The JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort has everything you could ever want while on vacation. It is so sophisticated and luxurious. This resort is a perfect balance of relaxation, fun, and entertainment! There are 12 unique restaurants available on the grounds, two championship golf courses, fitness/yoga classes, family activities, and a full service spa -- FLAWLESS, I know.

SPA:

On our first morning, we visited the exquisite Spa at JW! Abbi and I both got a 50 minute massage and it was life-changing. We also took a visit to their outdoor spa pool, hot tub, sauna/steam room, and outdoor lounge area! They also offer a variety of services such as: body wraps, facials, waxing, mani/pedi, and treatments. If you're in the mood for a relaxing vacation, be sure to book an appointment for you and your significant other or friend at their on-site spa!

RESTAURANTS:

We had the opportunity to experience a few of their restaurants as well! Our first night, we had a little too much fun at the upstairs restaurant + bar, Tesoro! This specific restaurant has a panoramic gulf view located on the fifth floor. They offer a variety of mediterranean cuisine dishes, seafood, and specialty cocktails. The manager of Tesoro, Danny, was so welcoming and made the experience nothing less than perfect (and he makes some BOMB drinks!). I'd highly recommend visiting Tesoro around 6:30pm so you can get a front row seat to the magical sunset view! Each morning, they also offered a buffet styled American breakfast that was so convenient and yummy.

While exploring the resort, we popped into Kane Tiki Bar and Grill to grab a drink! This tiki bar was so unique and high energy. They have a variety of Indonesian street food and an extensive rum collection -- which Abbi and I of course had to try! They also offer live family entertainment on select nights. When we visited, there was a man juggling fire -- SO COOL!

We had lunch at Quinn's on the beach (where we also got to meet Bella who is a local to Naples! She came and met us for lunch and I can't explain how happy I was to finally meet her in person after becoming so close via social media!). At Quinn's, I would highly recommend their salads, tacos, and margaritas! This specific restaurant was very popular due to it's location and easy access to the beach! Fun fact: Abbi is allergic to shellfish + it grosses her out lol so every time I got crab or shrimp she was like YEKKK haha!

On our last night after recording our podcast, we made a quick pitstop to 10K Alley. This gastro-pub and gaming emporium offers elevated bar food, 60 craft beers, and barrel-aged bourbon. Unfortunately the kitchen had closed up by the time we made it up there, but can't wait to see it next time and play some of their arcade games! We also heard wonderful things about Korals, their sushi and cocktail lobby bar on site, but were unable to make it on this trip (just another excuse to come back ;)).

FITNESS:

Abbi and I make it a priority on our travel campaigns to stay on top of our health & wellness. Which is why we love sharing vacation hotspots where they have a full service gym and cardio access -- they even had a Peloton! We got two solid workouts in while at the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort and the views from the treadmills made it easy to do so!

GOLF: For all of my golf lovers, the JW Marriott Marco Island has two private championship courses -- the Rookery & Hammock Bay! It's a Gold Certified Signature Sanctuary designated by Audubon International! On-site they have a clubhouse, restaurant, driving range, putting green, rentals & lessons, and Kids golf for free! I of course know absolutely nothing about golf lol... but Abbi said she would teach me so stay tuned :)

ROOM & SUITE:

The JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort is more than just a vacation hotspot. They also host weddings (one of my close friends mother actually was married at this exact resort and texted me when she saw I was in Marco Island -- small world!), business events, and social gala's in their elegant meeting rooms. They have gorgeous terraces throughout the hotel overlooking the Gulf for all the romantic vibes. Each suite also has a private balcony to enjoy a night-cap or morning coffee, a spacious desk if you need to get some work done, and an all access bathroom and shower.

LOCATION:

To give you a bit of an idea on location: it's about 45-50 minutes from Fort Myers airport, 20 minutes from Naples, and situated along three miles of pristine private beaches on the Gulf of Mexico.

The JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort is the perfect place to unwind for the summer! If you have the opportunity to visit this beautiful location, make sure to share it with me! I love seeing all of your travels, too!
