Make a surprise “fireplace” picnic:
Surprise him/her with their favorite homemade meal and set up next to the fireplace! Turn on a Christmas playlist and pour a glass a wine/beer!
Hot chocolate + Christmas movies:
Nothing beats homemade hot chocolate and a Holiday movie marathon! Pick out a few of the classics and get in the spirit!
Decorate a gingerbread house: Pick up an "easy to make" gingerbread house from the convenient store. Turn on Christmas music and get to decorating!
Rent a cabin for the weekend (skiing):
Take a weekend getaway to the mountains or local cabin getaway house with your significant other! Pack some snacks, drinks, and some fun board games and spend some quality time with just the two of you!
Drive-thru light show:
Hop in the car, pick up a pizza, and drive through your local light show!
Bake Christmas cookies and deliver cookie baskets to family:
Pick up the ingredients from the store and look up 5 different cookie recipes to try! After baking, create a cookie basket/jar and deliver it to your family and friends!
Make ugly Christmas sweaters:
Visit your local thrift store, or grab an old sweater and see who can make the ugliest Christmas sweater!
Run a virtual holiday themed 5K together:
For all of my fitness couples, this is the date for you! Sign up for a virtual 5K, dress up in your Holiday themed activewear, and make a day of it!
Christmas tree farm shopping: Take a drive to your closest Christmas tree farm and pick out the perfect one for your home. Maybe even snap a few photos for your fridge or next year's Christmas card!
DIY Christmas tree ornaments:
For all of my artsy couples: Stop by the arts & crafts store, browse around pinterest, and create some DIY ornaments for your Christmas tree!
